We put a mega-fit on our 80 Series recently and I am curious what others have done to get the unit closer to the body. We have it mounted in an aftermarket hitch and I think that is part of the issue. The receiver sticks out a good 3-4 inches from the rear bumper already. I am not sure if I can mount the hitch further under the vehicle or not, depends on the holes I guess. Any other ideas? I’d like to still be able to use it to tow (with the ultra-swing) which is why I am hesitant to buy the hitch that mounts to the 4 bolt holes in the rear cross-member.
